Meaningful change starts with connection

Healthcare and community systems are complex, and meaningful change requires more than identifying what is not working. It requires listening, asking the right questions, engaging the people closest to the issue, and creating strategies that can move ideas into action.

How can we work together?

“In public health, data can tell us what is happening, but connection helps people understand why it matters.”

As a Storyteller

As a public health practitioner and storyteller, I bridge the gap between evidence, lived experiences, and real-world action. I transform difficult-to-understand health information into clear, relatable, and meaningful stories that connect with diverse audiences and create space for conversations about health equity, wellness, and whole-person care.

I work alongside organizations and teams through interactive dialogue, scenario-based learning, and strategic guidance to explore challenges, strengthen engagement, identify opportunities for change, and develop approaches that are responsive, equitable, and sustainable.

“Together, we move from conversation to clarity and from insight into action.”
— Dr. Michelle Christine

Rooted in Community - Driven by Impact

  • "Dr. Michelle Christine brought far more than a presentation to our students. What made her work especially meaningful was her ability to connect academic learning with the lived experiences of the communities our students know and love. She helped students understand that health inequities are not simply statistics or concepts in a textbook; they are shaped by neighborhoods, access, opportunity, policy, and whether community voices are heard when decisions are made."

    — Dr. Shawna BúShell, Dean of Educational Services and Distance Learning
    Riverside Community College District

  • “One of the things I appreciate most about Dr. Michelle Christine is her commitment to making sure all our students have access to opportunities and resources. She has taken the time to meet with our Black students specifically to educate them about the resources, programs, and opportunities available to them in college."

    — Melissa Fink, Co-Director, Health & Medical Career Academy, Temescal Canyon High School

  • “She’s been fully dedicated to this partnership from the start, and the relationship she’s built with our academy has been genuinely vibrant. We’re grateful for everything she brings to our students."

    — Lee Lovingood, Co-Director, Health & Medical Career Academy, Temescal Canyon High School

  • "Her presentation encouraged caregivers to recognize the importance of connection, support, and self-care while caring for others."

    — Myette Christian, Deputy Director, IHSS Public Authority, San Bernardino County
